The software is made up of an output envirorment, and a generating language. The first one provide a series of instruments that allow the user to describe and build the compositions developed through the use of the CLAC language. Once a composition has been coded, it is possible to represent it in several ways, like a graphic model, or a sound sequence ( this last one is a prototype ). There are functions for the production of the graphic model, and others for shape manipulation, the book "CLACL design, introduzione alla Composizione Formale" is available in the best online bookstores, it is not a programming manual but a book about the concept behind the structure.
To sum up, the software allows the description of a composition through a language, it allows to represent it in bidimensional or tridimensional format or even with sounds ( these last two are prototypes), or it can create animated sequences that see the composition develope and improve over time. The generation of 3D composition is enabled by the privided application 'Plasma'. The complete version of the software allows also to import graphics in the DXF-Autocad format, and axport in DXF, VRML formats. It is possible to copy the graphic compositions in the clipboard and paste them in any graphic program. In the free version the images can be exported only via print-screen.
